We get developers from all over coming to the convention to let the public free play their games, both complete and in developmental stages. They are happy to talk about the process and let you play exclusive games that they have created themselves
Meet Ryan & TJ of tinyDino Games, a small indie dev team currently working on "The Ambassador", a 2D pixel art, overhead twin-stick shooter where you control time to defeat your enemies
Gage is sole owner of Lemonpop Studios. We have seen his development of "Space Bound!" improve with his skills over the last few years. Rumor has it he willl be presenting his new horror/thriller game in the coming year and we are looking forward to it
Nathan, of Bite the Chili Productions is from Champaign IL. He has been developing new homebrew games for console systems since 2004. and has released new games for Atari 2600, Nintendo NES, Gameboy Advance, Nintendo DS, and Dreamcast. Currently he is working on a large-scale sci-fi adventure game for the NES that will hopefully be completed late this year.
Gen Games is an ISU game development team working with Creative Technologies and The College of IT. They are devoted to give students the opportunity to become developers and make great games while developing skills that can provide them a platform to jump headstrong into the gaming industry. They have recently delovoped Tenebris, a Sci-Fi Horror Thriller Game where you find yourself awoken to be the last living crew member aboard a derelict space cruiser, abandoned, but certainly not alone.
Chad Grey and Devon Larson make up Beyond The Limits Games. BTL Games is an indie game studio that publishes and develops a wide range of genres and styles. Most of their works focus on sci-fi themes and motifs.
Scotty Rich of Idea Guy Interactive's new game "Tag Team Burnout" blends a story of avoiding overwork, with gameplay where the player must switch between two characters; healing wounded innocents as one and destroying an onslaught of robots as the other
The student chapter of ACM SIGGRAPH at the University of Illinois, is a nonprofit international membership organization made up of thousands of people who share a passion for computer graphics and interactive techniques. ACM SIGGRAPH members are involved in a wide variety of fields, including computer graphics research, software development, digital art, scientific visualization, interactive technology, game design, visual effects, computer science, education, engineering, graphic design, film and television production, scientific research and more.
